Most obstetricians will tell you to continue with your exercise regime while you are pregnant. It is important to keep your mind and body healthy for your unborn baby’s sake. But there are limitations on what you can do. Some workouts are just too risky to participate in but there are some that are very, very low impact, which can give you a great workout throughout your entire pregnancy. Prenatal Yoga lead by Shiva Rea is one such workout.

It must be emphasized that rotator cuff surgery recovery is both a science and an art. Your physical therapist and physician will provide the science behind the exercises and applications while you provide the art of knowing your body. Of course, your family members who provide support in your daily activities, which cannot be performed due to the surgery, form a significant part of the art/science combo. Working together as a team, you can indeed speed up your recovery.

Supraspinatus tendonitis, which is also generally referred to as rotator cuff tendonitis, is one of the biggest forms of tendonitis seen by doctors. The rotator cuff is comprised of many tendons and it is the supraspinatus tendon, which connects the shoulder blade to the arm bone, and it is this tendon that is prone to tendonitis.
